Dennis Weening, ambassador of Go Palm Oil Free, has visited the Albert Heijn in the Fahrenheitstraat, The Hague.
Albert Heijn is Holland’s largest supermarket chain and we are happy to announce that more and more palm oil free products are found in that supermarket. Only the products from Vegafit were clearly labeled, so we did conclude that labeling is still an important issue. The public needs to be able to shop easy and fast without having to read all the labels. Unfortunately some of the popular spreads for bread still contain mostly palm oil.
